Experience unforgettable days full of activities, experiences in Nature and delightful moments during your summer holiday on our holiday farm in Lofer. There is much to discover here for hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers, nature lovers and adventurers who are in search of excitement with knuckle-biting outdoor activities such as rafting, canyoning or climbing. Refreshment and bathing fun for the whole family is provided by several swimming pools, Kneipp facilities and natural lakes. The Tauern cycle path leads directly past our farm house, and hikes and walks can also be started directly in front of our house!
If you are a golf fan, you will find several beautiful scenic golf courses, which all provide challenging fairways and greens. The captivating towns and villages of St. Martin, Lofer, Unken and Weißbach characterise the traditions of Salzburg’s Saalachtal region, which are still lived out on its old farms, taverns and alpine mountain chalets. Over the course of the year, numerous events provide the opportunity to become acquainted with rural life here. As a result, guests experience the pleasure of true and unadulterated customs and traditions maintained over centuries: Harvest thanks-giving processions, the festive event of driving cattle from the alpine pastures back into the valley, or autumn agricultural events.
Onwards and upwards to the mountain pastures!
Would you like to accompany us to the Litzlalm where our cows spend the summer eating only the best and juiciest grasses and herbs? Those who are fit enough can walk to the mountain pasture or pedal up on a mountain bike; everyone else can drive together with us in a pick-up to the Litzlalm situated 1,320 metres above sea level. You will be rewarded at our destination with a fantastic panoramic view, which even extends as far as the Mühlsturzhörner when the visibility is good. Treat yourself to a hearty snack, a cool beer at the mountain chalet – and of course a little schnapps!
